Since 1963, a tale of commitment and passion began with a small family business dedicated to metalworking. In 1963, the Orsenigo family founded ORMA, an artisanal workshop specialized in producing classic metal furnishings. It was modest in size but driven by strong dedication, evolving over time and eventually taking the name OMA. This first experience laid the fertile ground for developing, in the following years, a unique expertise in metal transformation and attention to detail—elements that would become an integral part of the company’s DNA.

Since 1990, the pursuit of innovation has led the four Orsenigo brothers to start what would become one of the most interesting and dynamic companies in the contemporary furniture sector. The industrial context of Brianza, already since the 1950s, fostered a virtuous dialogue between the technical knowledge of industry and the creativity of design masters—an encounter that deeply shaped the evolution of Italian design. In this cultural and entrepreneurial climate, the Orsenigo family chose to focus their production on experimentation, openness to new languages, and the emphasis on design as a central value.
